Robert T. Kiyosaki

My poor dad often said, "What you know is important". My rich dad said, "If you want to be rich, who you know is more important than what you know". Rich dad explained by further saying, "business and investing is a team sport. The average investor or small business person loses financially because they do not have a team. Instead of a team, they act as individuals who are trampled by very smart teams."

In a nut shell Robert Kiyosaki is an Investor, Businessman, Best Selling Author, and Self-Made Millionaire.

However there is more to the story:

Robert was born and raised in Hawaii. His father was the head of education for the State of Hawaii. Robert's father, believing that education was the cornerstone to a successful life, had Robert educated in New York after his high school years in Hawaii. After graduation from college Robert found himself, as an officer, in Vietnam as a pilot on a helicopter gunship.

After returning from the war Robert's business career began. In 1977 he founded a company that brought to market the first Nylon and Velcro wallets, which grew into a multi-million dollar world wide product. Robert will tell you that through this endeavor he had made many mistakes which today he instructs individuals, all over the world, how not to make the same mistakes as he had.

Leaving the business world behind, Robert founded an international education company that operated in several countries, teaching business and investing to tens of thousands of successful graduates. His television show was broadcast across America carrying his educational message.

Robert retired at the age of 47. With spare time at hand Robert now does what he truly loves...investing. Concerned about the ever increasing gap between the "haves" and "have nots" Robert created the board game CASHFLOW, to teach people how to create assets which buy other assets. Robert, through this game, teaches individuals the same financial strategies his rich dad spent years teaching him. These are the same strategies that allowed Robert to retire at the age of 47.

Robert's message is clear, "Take responsibility for your finances or take orders all your life. You're either a master of money or a slave to it".

The profound and extremely powerful message Robert brings whether it be in the form of a book, tape or board game is priceless in this time of economic uncertainty.
